Blogging Thoughts... Tricube Tales

 

So I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a copy of these rules in paperback (as well as PDF), you can get yourself a copy at DrivethruRPG, and a small tip, if you hit the preview button, you can see the entire ruleset and the author encourages you to look before you buy. I also picked up the Advanced rules, to see if I can add something later on. 

Now I wasn't expecting much from this game at all, it's much like Tiny d6. In fact I find it smoother to play than Tinyd6 with much better options. Adding on the Advanced Rules, really kicks it up a notch. 

It has Solo Rules as well, which I need to try out.

What's also great, is the author has all these one page settings you can use to help spark ideas and create games... most of the time they are on sale.. but you can always hit "preview" and get a look at the page and try it out.
