GURPS Religion looks like a fantasy religion toolkit at first glance, but I wanted to see how well it works for a modern horror campaign. In this video, I use GURPS Religion for 3rd Edition to build the Ordo Dei, the hidden order behind my Ethan Cole horror game.
This is not a full review of the book. I am looking at how to use it at the table: belief, hierarchy, holy orders, clerical authority, symbols, rites, exorcism, and divine intervention. The goal is to take a book that seems fantasy-focused and translate it into something useful for modern supernatural horror.
