Story Maps vs Town Maps, which is better?

Let's be honest, do you really need a detailed town map for Solo or group play?

Well in this video I will go over my method in this process and let you decide if it is better or worse. Tracking every street, building or distance or just a bunch landmarks with connected lines. Does it really matter when it comes down to a town if something is this far away on this street? 85% of the time it really doesn't matter at all. The town square. The church. The sheriff's office. The old abandoned house on the edge of town. These are the places where the story happens. I'll show how a simple collection of circles and connecting lines can give you everything you need to run a solo campaign while keeping your focus on characters, mysteries, and adventure instead of cartography. If you've ever felt stuck trying to create detailed maps before you can start playing, this approach might help.
